About My Clients
Your thoughts won’t stop racing. You’re always worrying, running through the worst case scenario. You feel jittery and like rest and sleep are impossible to find. You’ve tried to calm yourself but it doesn’t seem to work. Or you try to ignore the nagging in the back of your mind but you can’t seem to focus on the task in front of you. The pressure is building and you worry what others might think of you.
My Background and Approach
I can help you to create tools that will enable you to manage. Whether that be reprioritizing your goals, learning different ways to communicate, or ways to help you stay calm in the midst of the chaos. I will help you to explore what change you want to make, what internal messages could be preventing you from becoming the person you want to be. And what practical steps you can take to move forward. It is also important for you to be able to process the complex emotions that struggles and conflict stir up. We will map out the ways in which your emotions are triggered and find ways to help you calm yourself. As you learn to cope, this will lead you to be better in tune with yourself and your relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that change is possible no matter what age or stage of life you are in. It can be scary and confusing and sometimes an individual needs someone to walk with them through the change. I would love to be that support for you. I have learned through my own therapy how anxiety can limit oneself and prevent someone from participating in life in the way you desire. I have also learned ways in which I can manage my anxiety without losing myself in the process. This is my hope for you too! I also believe that a person's faith is an important piece of who they are and how they can manage life. I come from a Christian background and would love to help you explore how your faith can encourage and support you in this process whether or not you come from the same faith as me.
