My clients are adolescents and young adults who are struggling to navigate the challenges of life. I provide safe and supportive individual counseling to help build new skills, address trauma, and increase a sense of self and identity. My clients are typically struggling with depression, anxiety, or adjusting to life's transitions. Together we can build a plan to support your road to resilience and a thriving life!
My Background and Approach
I am an educator, social worker, equalizer, and outdoor enthusiast. As a former school social worker, I have over a decade of experience working with schools, students, and families. I provide a strength-based, solution-focused approach to children and their families that is trauma-informed. I believe in collaborative problem solving and a holistic approach. I am trained in trauma and grief-focused treatments and am Triple P certified. My focus is on helping individuals and adolescents have healthy development. Our work is interactive and activity-based, especially for those youth who have a more challenging time opening up.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the inherent goodness in all people and that it is never too late to grow. I am actively engaged in racial equity work and am embedded in a social justice framework. I am an avid believer in equal rights for all people and that everyone is on their own journey to become the best version of themselves.
