About My Clients

My clients are often teens and adults who may look like they are holding it together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or emotionally drained inside. Many are navigating stress, depression, trauma, life transitions, parenting, relationships, identity, or the pressure to keep showing up for everyone else. Therapy can be a space to slow down, feel understood, and begin making sense of what has felt heavy to carry alone.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy for teens and adults in Connecticut. My background includes outpatient therapy, hospital-based care, behavioral health, care coordination, and clinical review, which has helped me understand both the emotional and practical challenges clients often face. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and practical. I draw from CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based therapy to help clients better understand patterns, build coping skills, process difficult experiences, and move toward meaningful change. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, parenting, relationships, identity, or emotional overwhelm. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment, while also leaving sessions with tools that feel realistic for everyday life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel seen, respected, and supported without judgment. My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, cultural humility, and the belief that people can grow even while navigating difficult seasons. I value creating a space that honors each client’s lived experience, identity, strengths, and pace. I also believe healing is not about having everything figured out, but about having room to pause, reflect, and begin again with support.
