About My Clients
I enjoy working with those who may feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure of who they are. Many of the clients I support are navigating trauma, anxiety, self-esteem struggles, identity exploration, relationship stress, or the unique experiences that can come with being neurodivergent. I value helping clients better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, and build healthier relationships with themselves.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in a variety of mental health roles for over 10 years, which has given me experience supporting individuals across different levels of need, settings, and life challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and a post-master’s certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which provides a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment and clinical practice. My background has allowed me to develop a flexible, client-centered approach that meets people where they are, whether they are navigating acute stress, long-standing emotional patterns, or significant life transitions. I draw from this experience to help clients feel understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools that can be used in everyday life. I have particular experience working with trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence, identity development, and relational difficulties. My goal is to translate clinical knowledge into approachable, meaningful support so clients can better understand
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value compassion, respect, and treating all people and living beings with dignity. I strongly stand against racism and any form of discrimination, and I believe healing and growth happen best in spaces that are inclusive, safe, and accepting. I’m a huge animal lover and believe in caring for and protecting all living things. I also deeply value nature and the environment, and I find grounding and meaning in gardening and being outdoors. I encourage clients to embrace their individuality, including their quirks, differences, and unique identities, rather than feeling pressure to “fit a mold.” I believe authenticity is a strength, and that self-acceptance is a powerful part of the healing process. My goal is to help create a space where people feel seen, respected, and supported as they grow into who they are.
