About My Clients
Are you sick of gritting your teeth and feel like you are just 'getting by' without having having joy, happiness or peace of mind? Do you find being in certain situations, environment, or even around people that you once enjoyed slowly becoming unbearable? Perhaps you feel overwhelmed, overworked, & never "good enough? Maybe you are constantly in a "doing" mode and never able to take a break and enjoy time with others?
My Background and Approach
I am trained in NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) which is a Relational / Humanistic Model and unified therapy tethering together Somatic Experiencing, Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, Transpersonal Psychology, Object Relations, Experiential Psychology, & vary recent discoveries in Interpersonal Neurobiology with a them of ameliorating symptoms consistent with Complex PTSD as well as Developmental Trauma (attachment trauma, interpersonal trauma, cultural trauma, educational trauma, etc). Using this approach I have worked with others to help assuage symptoms such as anxiety, depression, abandonment / rejection, panic, addiction, affect dysregulation, and / or other relational difficulties.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that anyone whom has even the subtle impulse to reach out for help has the potential for deep transformation. Sometimes it is those that think their situation is unfixable or that they are too "damaged" to be helped, that seem to "flip the script" and engage in deep transformation. All that is necessary is a willingness to take a genuine look at ourselves, developing a capacity for self-reflection, and having a little conviction that the way we have always done things, does not have to be the final chapter in our lives. Change is possible and very real, and I have witnessed it happen firsthand time and again.
