My Background and Approach
I have eight years of substance use disorder and alcohol treatment experience. I am a Certified Alcohol/Drug Counselor in the state of Idaho. I specialize in the treatment of substance and alcohol abuse. I am also a certified Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) facilitator. I have experience with individual and group treatment. I use a strength-based approach along with Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). I believe that utilizing a person's strength allows him/her to tap into their own personal power of recovery and hope. I also believe that a person is driven by their thinking, so if a person can change their thinking, they can change their behavior as well. I am willing to listen, and to walk along beside you on your journey of recovery and rediscovering hope.
