About My Clients

Sometimes it feels like you are on an endless wheel of self sabotaging that leaves you feeling alone and unworthy. I help process developmental trauma that holds people back from living their truest purpose. We change the patterns that have kept you stuck. When clients work with me, they go from feeling parts of them are scattered to feeling like a whole, grounded and centered person. Often couples go from fighting and feeling resentment to cultivating bridges of understanding and communication.

My Background and Approach

I am a pre-licensed marriage and family therapist who integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic and Attachment-based Eye Motion Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) into her practice. She also draws on a wide array of techniques, including narrative and creative expression, the Gottman Method, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to support individuals in mastering themselves and their relationships. The approach is designed to help clients live their best lives in the present moment. This therapy helps disrupt patterns that have been carried across generations to create new legacies of connection, intention, and healing. I have training in EMDR, Gottman 1, Prepare Enrich, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and further education in homicidal and suicidal ideations. I specialize in maintaining a trauma informed and LGBTQIA+ affirming practice. I have worked in community health, group practice, and intensive outpatient programs.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe grief should be witness and healed in community. I believe grief is a shape shifter and a taboo topic in our mainstream culture, but I can support you to honor it and move forward with your truest life. I believe in uplifting marginalized and oppressed cultures to restore hope, self-love, and creating equitable futures. I have dedicated my career to supporting people that have been through trauma to step outside of the cycles that have kept them frozen. As a young adult, I went on my own path of destruction and crippling depression. Through my own therapy, I was able to authentically author my life and develop the skills I was never taught to nurture myself to a brighter future. I participate in local activism, marches, and financial contributions. As a Latin therapist, I firmly support diverse heritages and instill curiosity toward other cultural practices. If you want to see if we are a good fit, feel free to schedule a call or send a message.
