My Background and Approach
I have experience working with a wide range of issues, but my main areas of focus include coping with distress, exploring identity, and managing life transitions. I have training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy. No matter what issues you bring in, I will always emphasize the importance of self-compassion and simple pleasures. Life can be tough, but so are we!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an advocate for inclusive and accessible mental health services. This is why I also have a therapy social media presence. Instagram can’t replace therapy, but it can spread some help and support to people who need it! I support equal rights and am passionate about helping disenfranchised communities. I believe we are ALL works in progress, including therapists.
