About My Clients

Do you think you aren't good enough, that you can't do anything right, that you’re getting motherhood all wrong? I know how you feel, and I can help you feel better. I love supporting women in their perinatal journey, from family planning, through pregnancy & postpartum (2 yrs after birth) & beyond. I can also help with the pain of infertility, or grief & loss. If you're in any of these transitions, or just feeling the stress of life & parenthood — you are a great fit for me!

My Background and Approach

In my practice, I combine both personal experience as a mother & professional training as a maternal mental health specialist to create a safe & nurturing space for you to explore & cope with what you’re feeling. So much of new motherhood is overwhelming and isolating, and sometimes just having a compassionate and understanding ear can go a long way! With each session, I listen to your goals, share relevant psycho-education, and support you with better understanding your experience & needs. I also use a variety of theory and techniques to help you grow & expand your skills for coping with the stress, overwhelm and loneliness of motherhood — CBT, mindfulness, attachment theory, IFS and EMDR (coming Fall 2022) are all among my favorite orientations for our work together.
