I truly value and care for each of my clients and feel that every client I treat is brought to me for a reason. I am inspired by empowering clients to create change and grow and develop in ways that could only imagine. I think therapy works best when it is open transparent and collaborative. My Background and Approach
I have been in the field of Social Work for 20 years and have worked in a variety of settings. I have worked in Child Welfare, Residential Programs, Academia and several group practices. I have taught at Harvard, Wheelock and I am currently a Faculty Field Liaison at the School of Social Work at Boston College. I opened Shine Therapy & Coaching in 2021 and I feel that working with clients to process their past and look towards their future is a true privilege. I feel so grateful to have a career that I not only enjoy but that is so fulfilling. It has been such an honor for me to empower others to create change and develop the life they imagined. I am an LICSW and I am also trained in The ARC therapy model and EMDR.
