About My Clients

My clients are often individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed, misunderstood, burned out, or stuck in survival mode. Many are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, relationship stress, or life transitions while carrying the pressure of being “the strong one.” I work especially well with clients seeking a therapist who is compassionate, culturally aware, grounded, and authentic.

My Background and Approach

I am a process-oriented, humanistic therapist who believes healing begins with feeling safe enough to show up as your authentic self. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and genuine connection. I focus on helping clients move beyond survival mode toward true growth, self-understanding, and emotional healing while honoring where they currently are in their journey. With experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, systemic stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions, I strive to create a culturally aware and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen rather than analyzed. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, empowering, and grounded in your unique lived experience rather than forcing change before you are ready.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Outside of therapy, I value holistic health, personal growth, and living in alignment with compassion and authenticity. I follow a plant-based vegan lifestyle and believe emotional wellness is deeply connected to how we care for our minds, bodies, relationships, and environment. I also enjoy traveling and exploring different cultures, as I believe new experiences can feed the spirit, expand perspective, and promote growth. My professional background began in social services, where I worked with youth and families impacted by child welfare involvement, juvenile justice systems, trauma, and residential treatment settings. These experiences shaped my understanding of resilience, systemic barriers, and the importance of creating spaces where people feel genuinely seen and supported. I am passionate about working with diverse communities and strive to provide a culturally aware, affirming, and nonjudgmental environment for all clients.
