About My Clients

Is your family drama feeling like a never-ending reality TV show with constant surprises and moments that leave you questioning everything? If you're riding an emotional rollercoaster, you're definitely not alone! Many of us deal with complicated relationships that can be exhausting and confusing. The good news is, you don’t have to go through it by yourself! I'm here to support you on this journey. Let’s work together to find some clarity and peace.

My Background and Approach

My approach to helping individuals healing from generational trauma is rooted in empathy, understanding, and collaboration. I recognize that each person's journey is unique and influenced by their family history, so I prioritize creating a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotions and experiences. I utilize a blend of therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Art Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address the complexities of generational patterns and their impact on mental health. By working together, we can identify unhealthy dynamics, develop effective coping strategies, and set healthy boundaries. I also emphasize the importance of self-compassion and resilience, empowering clients to reclaim their narrative and foster authentic connections. My goal is to guide you through the healing process, helping you break free from cycles that no longer serve you!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in affordable access to mental health care, which is why I am in the process of becoming credentialed with Medi-Cal. While I’m not an expert on race relations, I am acutely aware of my whiteness and its implications both inside and outside of the therapy room. I am sex and kink friendly, and I embrace a politically left-leaning perspective. As someone who is spiritual but not religious, I deeply honor the spirituality and beliefs of my clients. In my personal life, I am a passionate reader of romantasy, and I love engaging in creative outlets like pottery and crafts. I have been happily married since 2016 and have a wonderful kiddo who inspires me every day. My interests and values shape the compassionate approach I bring to my practice, creating a safe and affirming space for all clients.
