About My Clients
You wake up anxious, heart racing before the alarm. Everyday tasks feel heavy—shower, coffee, work. Loud sounds trigger memories. At work, you smile, laugh, pretend. Inside, it's chaos. By afternoon, you're fraying, escaping to breathe in silence. Home offers no real peace. Night brings no rest. You rise again each morning because surviving has become routine. Therapy helps by holding space to process pain, understand triggers, and build coping skills, fostering healing and resilience.
My Background and Approach
As a trauma-informed therapist, I approach each client with deep compassion, respect, and a commitment to creating a solid, supportive space where healing can begin. I understand that life experiences and trauma impacts the body, mind, and relationships in complex ways, and I work collaboratively to help clients regain a sense of control, trust, and self-worth. My approach is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and curiosity—never judgment. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic alliance, honoring each person’s pace, and gently guiding them through their journey with patience and care. I integrate somatic awareness, mindfulness, and practice such as Brainspotting and CBT depending on each client’s unique needs. I believe healing is not linear and that each person holds the innate capacity to grow and reconnect with their inner strength. My role is to walk beside you—not to fix you, but to support you as you reclaim your story, your voice, and your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person has the right to heal—regardless of where they come from, what they’ve experienced, or how long they’ve carried pain. Healing isn’t reserved for the few; it’s a human right, and it starts with being met with compassion rather than judgment. I hold a deep trust in the power of curiosity—asking what happened to you? instead of what’s wrong with you? This shift opens space for understanding, not shame. We are shaped by our experiences, not defined by them. I believe we all carry the capacity to grow and change, if we choose to and when we feel safe enough to do so. Change doesn’t mean erasing the past; it means learning to live differently with it. With the right support, safety, and care, healing is possible. I honor each person’s journey and trust that they are the expert of their own story—I’m simply here to walk alongside, to witness, and to remind them of their worth, strength, and ability to reclaim their life.
