About My Clients
I work with individuals navigating transitions throughout early, emerging, and mid-adulthood. My clients are often facing challenges with perfectionism, stress, avoidance, depressed mood, feelings of guilt, worry, shame, anxiety, grief/loss, maternal mental health, and navigating the world as a highly sensitive person. I work best with motivated clients who are ready to engage actively in the therapy process and work towards uncovering their most authentic and meaningful life.
My Background and Approach
In 2016, I earned my master of arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. This means I work with individuals from a relational and family systems lens. We're all influenced and impacted by our family relationships/primary caregivers- the foundation of our attachment and blueprint for future relationships. With this in mind, I provide a safe, nonjudgemental space for clients to explore their relationships and experiences (both past and present) that impact present day living. Together we'll explore different mind and body based techniques for self regulation, stress management, anxious or depressed mood, and getting unstuck and moving forward. You can leave what doesn't work for you and take what does. Your treatment will be unique to your needs and goals for therapy. It's possible to find peace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m passionate about empowering clients through the nurturing and development of self-compassion. I really believe we can make the world a more kind and loving place by starting with the relationship we have with ourselves. When we can offer ourselves true self-compassion will we be able to offer it to others.
