About My Clients
Do you feel as if you're alone and no one really understands what you are going through? Do you feel as if you are constantly having to repeat yourself over and over again just to feel disappointed? You feel the lost of control. You're unsure of what you want or even what you are looking for. It can be frustrating and overwhelming. I want you to know that you are not alone. Let's connect. Let's talk about it. Let me help you.
My Background and Approach
I received my Masters in Social Work from Florida State University in 2016. Since graduating, I have worked with the largest community mental health agency in Central Florida, including the school system in Orange and Seminole County. I provide services to caregivers who are caring for loved ones with Dementia and Alzheimer's. I approach counseling with an open heart and mind, and hope to create a warm and welcoming environment for you. I want to enable you to determine the areas you wish to address, and I will tailor the therapeutic approach on your needs and area of focus. I draw on several treatment modalities to allow you to further develop your strengths and to help you meet all of your treatment plan goals at a speed that works best for you. My goals as a therapist are to make you feel safe, validated, and empowered.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to make changes as long as they want to and are willing to put in the effort. I believe in having second chances and most importantly, being able to live a happy life. Here are some fun facts about me: I am Vietnamese-American and speak English and Vietnamese fluently. I am a wife and mother of 3 kids. I was raised in Boston, MA and currently living in Southwest Florida. During my free time, I like to spend quality time with family, reading, being out in nature, watching Netflix, and painting.
