Anxiety can be caused by a host of factors. From chronic stress, life transitions, single events, or patterns over time. I will work with you to identify not only the root of the issues going on, but learn more about your body and how you can respond externally and internally. Together we will discuss the pathways in the body anxiety responds to, learn skills, and process so you can manage anxiety.

Trauma is rooted in many spaces in our world today. Our bodies are responding in the only way they know how - to protect us. However it's not helpful and it can feel the opposite, like its impossible to function. Together, we will learn the science of trauma, how it manifests in our bodies, and what we can do with time, patience, and care to help you create healing and reclaim your mind, body, and relationships.

Depression feels like it will never end. It feel like the clouds never pass. We may feel stuck or incapable for getting back to how we use to feel or maybe we don't even remember what life was life before feeling this way. I am here to help you work through depression. To provide you with support and care. To give you tools in a safe environment for you to discover what is beyond the clouds. Together we can work towards creating something new.

It is common knowledge now that talk therapy alone is not the optimal way of healing through trauma. Sometimes things are too hard to put into words. Often times, people are trying to think their way through things, and by doing so doesn't make things feel better. Trauma is more than the mind, it is also the body, the mind-body connection. Through making a safe space, being in our bodies, learning skills, and educating ourselves how trauma is manifesting is how I help clients do trauma work.

It is easy be on autopilot. We wake up and are not in tune with our thoughts, feelings and actions. We come home from a long day and get irritated without knowing why. People may go through years of anxiousness, numbness, or missing out on moments of peace. With mindfulness you reclaim back your mind, body, time, responses, and so much more. Mindfulness is scientifically proven to help a host of issues. Together we will do skills to help you feel more connected to yourself and your environment.

Counseling is the unique experience of showing up as your authentic self. Together we can create a safe space where you can being a deeper observer of your life and discover things about yourself. Without judgement I will meet you where you are at and empower you to asses what you need and cultivate a healthy relationship with yourself and others.
