About My Clients

If you’re feeling stuck in patterns that keep repeating, carrying the weight of past trauma, or noticing that success on the outside hasn’t brought the fulfillment you hoped for, you’re not alone—and you’re in the right place. Many of the people I work with have learned to protect themselves by staying busy, keeping their guard up, intellectualizing their feelings, or overfunctioning in relationships. Therapy can be a place to feel understood in your pain, and begin reconnecting with yourself.

My Background and Approach

I use an experiential and relational approach, which means therapy is less about analyzing from a distance and more about noticing what comes up in the moment. We might pay attention to the parts of you that carry pain or protect you, and give those parts a voice in a safe space. With a trauma-informed and attachment lens, we will work together to see how past experiences and early relationships still shape you today. This process allows you to better understand yourself, strengthen self-esteem, and respond to challenges in ways that feel more supportive and aligned with who you want to be. I approach each person and relationship within the context of their cultural background, personal history, and the larger systems they’re part of. I am mindful of how systemic issues such as racism, generational trauma, and societal expectations can shape your experiences and relationships. My role is to create a space where these influences can be discussed openly, helping you feel seen.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I bring my full, genuine self to therapy—curious, transparent, and grounded in compassion—because real connection happens when we both show up authentically. With a balance of honesty, warmth, and humor, I support you in taking risks, expressing emotions, and experimenting with new ways of thinking and relating. We might laugh, we might cry—sometimes both in the same session—because growth is messy, human, and worth showing up for. Reach out today!
