About My Clients
Most of my clients are people who are motivated for change but may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or without support. They may be experiencing: stress, uncontrollable worry, difficulty adjusting to a change, loss/grief, difficult relationship(s), previous trauma, feelings of inadequacy, or simply not having the space in their day to day lives to talk about what's going on (no matter of "big" or "small") for them.
My Background and Approach
Whether you're looking for a space to talk and process or you're ready to dive into actionable steps, I offer a tailored approach that can range from short-term solutions to long-term growth. I incorporate aspects of multiple therapeutic modalities, in effort to remain flexible to your needs while still providing evidence-based interventions. Some popular modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, somatic practices, and person-centered. I've worked in a residential setting, Division of Family & Child Services (DFCS), private practice, and public education. I strongly believe the importance of a client feeling comfortable with their therapist. While I hope our space and conversations feel casual, I hope to also balance support with directness so your receiving support AND progress. My hope for clients is that they feel empowered, more resilient, more self-aware, and more compassionate with themselves after our work together.
