About My Clients

I work with teens, young adults, college students, and parents who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, identity questions, self-esteem struggles, or parenthood challenges. They want a therapist who is warm, nonjudgmental, and relatable—someone who truly listens and gets it. If you're looking for a safe, supportive space to feel heard and begin making meaningful changes, you're in the right place.

My Background and Approach

I became a counselor to create a safe, supportive space where teens, young adults, college students, and mothers can navigate life's challenges. My journey began in education, transitioned through school counseling, and led me to private practice, and I offer over a decade of experience in counseling. I utilize a person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and strengths-based approach, adapting to each client's unique needs. My work is informed by feminist theory, emphasizing empowerment and inclusivity. I approach my work with warmth, humor, and curiosity, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each person’s unique story. As a mother who faced postpartum anxiety and birth trauma, I understand the importance of relatable support. I also incorporate animal-assisted therapy with my dog Griz, who provides comfort during sessions. My goal is to walk alongside you, providing a compassionate environment where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to thrive.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel genuinely seen and supported. My approach is rooted in the understanding that each individual's journey is unique, and I strive to meet clients where they are. As a mother who has navigated postpartum challenges, and as a first-generation college student myself, I understand how isolating it can feel to face big transitions and mental health struggles without the right support. I'm committed to creating an inclusive environment that honors all identities and backgrounds. Outside the therapy room, I find joy in crafting, exploring Colorado's outdoors with my family, and attending live music events. These activities replenish me and enhance my ability to be present and empathetic with my clients. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and am dedicated to walking alongside my clients as they navigate their paths toward well-being.
