About My Clients

My clients are insightful, self-aware, and deeply committed to their personal growth. From the outside, you have a solid understanding of your patterns and where your stress comes from—yet on the inside, you often find yourself trapped in constant overthinking and mental loops. You aren't looking for a passive sounding board; you want a space where your lived experience as a person of color is truly understood and honored. You are ready to roll up your sleeves, try out concrete coping tools both

My Background and Approach

My work is rooted in a relational, psychodynamic, and interpersonal framework, which means I view therapy as a collaborative partnership where we explore how your past experiences, attachment history, and key relationships shape your present life. I believe true healing happens when we combine deep, insight-oriented work with actionable, solution-focused care. In our sessions, we won't just talk about the why—we will also focus on the how. I integrate mindfulness, somatic practices, and concrete coping skills into our work so you can regulate your nervous system, quiet chronic overthinking, and build real-world resilience. Whether we are unpacking long-standing emotional patterns or testing out practical tools you can use between sessions, our goal is to help you feel both deeply understood and fully empowered to create lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that our individual emotional struggles—whether it’s chronic anxiety, burnout, or overthinking—do not exist in a vacuum. We live in a world deeply shaped by capitalism, patriarchy, environmental distress, and inequitable political systems. These overarching structures directly impact our daily stress, sense of safety, and emotional well-being, intertwining with our cultural backgrounds, family histories, and upbringings. Therapy with me isn't about pathologizing your natural responses to an overwhelming world. Instead, it’s about acknowledging these systemic realities, honoring how your culture and lineage have shaped your resilience, and helping you unlearn internalized pressures so you can reclaim your agency and peace of mind.
