About My Clients
Are you struggling with the overwhelm which can accompany ADHD and anxiety? Feeling like there is more for your life, but don't know where to start? Or, low motivation, low mood, and can't seem to find a way out? I work with clients to empower them on their journey to growth and well-being. I specialize in supporting women with ADHD-related challenges to help them thrive. I also work extensively with addiction, grief, and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
Healing, self-discovery, and positive change awaits. I utilize evidence-based practices including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), life skills development, and mindfulness-based practices to promote client growth and wellbeing. I work extensively with those struggling with the challenges of ADHD, anxiety, addiction, and depression. I employ a compassionate, gentle therapeutic style that focuses on the entire person, considering their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the inherent potential for change and growth in every person, and that is often through our challenges that we can find positive transformation. Your problems are not too small, nor too large, to seek change and support. I operate within a social justice framework, combining effective therapeutic methods with an understanding of systemic issues affecting race, gender identity, women's issues, and poverty that affect mental health. I am an LGBTQ ally, an advocate for racial equality and justice, and practice using a lens of cultural humility and understanding.
