About My Clients
Neurodivergent, including gifted, 2E, autistic, ADHD, quirky, intense, asynchronous, bright, creative, sensitive.
My Background and Approach
The neurodiversity movement proposes that brain differences are just that: Differences. Not better or worse. I tailor my approach to suit each person, but my work is is framed from the perspective of neurodiversity, social justice, and trauma, and is influened by Somatics, Brainspotting, Neuroscience, Mindfulness, Ecotherapy, Expressive Arts, Trauma Theory, Cross Culturalism, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, and Mythology.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about supporting clients in learning how to recognize their gifts and differences as assets, as opposed to burdens, and addressing the resulting trauma of being neurodivergent in a neurotypical society. I work from a neurodiversity-affirming, social justice and cultural humility framework.
