About My Clients
Our clients are individuals and couples navigating trauma, chronic stress, or major life transitions. They often find that traditional talk therapy leaves them "stuck in their heads" while their bodies still carry anxiety, grief, or burnout. We welcome diverse identities and marginalized lived experiences, offering an affirming space for those ready to move beyond coping to deep somatic healing. If you are seeking to reconnect with your body and regulate your nervous system, you belong here.
My Background and Approach
Hello and welcome! I am so glad you are here. Taking the step to find the right support is a beautiful act of self-care, and I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate life's heavy pieces all by yourself. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with over 20 years of experience, my heart is in helping you reconnect your mind and your body. I also bring specialized proficiency in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) to our sessions. If you’ve ever felt like talk therapy helps you understand your anxiety or trauma, but your body still feels tense, overwhelmed, or stuck in survival mode, you are not alone. My decades of bodywork experience mean we can work together to gently listen to your physical self, helping your nervous system finally soften, unwind, and find a sense of true safety.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is rooted in the deep belief that therapy is a collaborative act of liberation and social justice. I view mental health not as an isolated individual experience, but as something intimately connected to the systems, environments, and institutions we move through every day. I am fiercely committed to providing a safe, affirming, and celebratory space for the LGBTQIA+ community, and those navigating minority stress and marginalized identities. My values center on intersectional feminism, anti-racism, and dismantling the systemic barriers that impact wellness and somatic safety. True healing requires honoring your whole lived experience without judgment. I support and advocate for trauma-informed, and identity-affirming care. No matter your background, your body, or your story, you are welcomed here exactly as you are.
