About My Clients
If you’re LGBTQ+ and struggling with complex trauma or dissociation, you may feel disconnected from yourself, overwhelmed by emotions, or stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand. Maybe parts of your past continue to affect your relationships and sense of self. I work with LGBTQ+ individuals who want to process trauma, better understand themselves, and feel more connected. You deserve an affirming space where you feel safe, understood, and supported throughout your healing journey.
My Background and Approach
Finding hope, healing, and peace is possible, even when you feel disconnected from yourself or others. If you’re navigating complex trauma or dissociation, you may feel caught between parts of yourself that are stuck in the past and others ready to move forward. I take a gentle yet direct, trauma-informed approach, honoring your experiences and moving at a pace that feels safe for you. I believe therapy should be a collaborative relationship where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I use EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help you process trauma, understand different parts of yourself, and work through internal conflicts. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, develop emotional regulation skills, and work toward greater understanding and connection with yourself. Your healing journey is uniquely yours, and you deserve support that honors every part of who you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You deserve to feel safe, understood, and accepted for who you are. If you’re LGBTQ+ and navigating complex trauma or dissociation, you may sometimes feel disconnected from yourself, your emotions, or others. You may have developed ways to cope that helped you survive difficult experiences but now make life feel harder. Together, we can explore these patterns, build safety, and help you feel more connected to yourself. I understand how trauma can impact relationships and your sense of self through my own childhood experiences and journey in therapy. I want to help you find healing at your own pace, without pressure or judgment. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I welcome every part of your identity and experience. I also believe therapy can include humor, creativity, and your favorite nerdy interests. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. If you’re ready to explore your experiences and build a life that feels more authentic and connected, I’d love to hear from you.
