We have the power within us to live a life that we desire, but sometimes we need a little support on the journey. My Background and Approach
My counseling style is pretty laid back and focused on solutions. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. You have taken the first and most important step by reaching out for help.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all humans are created equal. Regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, ability, sexuality, religion, or spiritual practice, we all deserve to be respected, treated with dignity, and shown compassion and love. We all make mistakes and have an innate power to change. That power comes from human drive, social supports, and a commitment to growth. I stand against any practice that marginalizes, discriminates, or otherwise harms another human.
