About My Clients
I work with women and LGBTQ+ adults navigating trauma, anxiety, difficult family relationships, grief, medical trauma, chronic illness, and life's unexpected transitions. My approach is relational, collaborative, and affirming. Together, we'll make sense of your experiences, understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and find a path forward that feels authentic to you.
My Background and Approach
Therapy isn't about having the right words or knowing exactly where to start. My role is to help you make sense of your experiences, understand patterns that developed for good reasons, and build new ways of relating to yourself and others. My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in feminist and systemic perspectives. Depending on your goals, I may incorporate EMDR, parts work, somatic interventions, emotion-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels manageable while creating meaningful, lasting change — not just temporary symptom relief.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role isn't to tell you who to be, but to help you better understand yourself with compassion and honesty. I believe many symptoms make sense in the context of what you've lived through, and healing begins when we replace shame with curiosity, connection, and the freedom to choose what comes next.
