About My Clients
Do you feel constant pressure to perform and worry about letting your team, coaches, or family down? Does anxiety creep in before competition, leaving your heart racing and your mind overwhelmed with doubt? I understand the weight athletes carry and how quickly burnout and fear of failure can take hold. I help athletes build mental strength, regain confidence, and develop tools to perform with clarity while staying grounded beyond the game.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and sport social worker with experience supporting youth and adolescents across medical, school, nonprofit, and community settings. My work includes crisis intervention, behavioral health support, psychoeducation, and therapeutic services that strengthen resilience and emotional well-being. My approach integrates evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral strategies, strengths-based interventions, and performance-focused mental wellness support. I help athletes understand how thoughts, emotions, and pressure affect performance while building practical tools to improve focus, confidence, and emotional regulation. Athletes benefit from this work because it is practical, strength-based, performance supportive, and identity-affirming, helping them stay grounded beyond sport. My goal is to help athletes build mental strength that supports success in sport and in life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental wellness is essential to sustainable performance and overall well-being. Athletes deserve support that recognizes them as whole people, not just performers chasing results. When emotional health is protected, confidence, focus, and enjoyment of sport can grow. As a first-generation college graduate and mental health professional, I am passionate about expanding access to care, reducing stigma, and helping young people build emotional resilience. I value authenticity, human connection, and creating spaces where individuals feel safe to be honest about their experiences and challenges. I am committed to advocacy, education, and fostering environments where athletes can thrive mentally, emotionally, and academically while developing strength, purpose, and balance that extend far beyond competition and into everyday life.
