About My Clients
Starting a family is one of life's greatest periods of reflection, adaptation and role change. It is not one cohesive story that is the same for everyone, and there is normalcy in that. However there are also times when we need help navigating and adapting to this part of our life story.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a certification in Perinatal Mental Health. I work by utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches to support you in your growth process. Each treatment approach is unique, and is based on what it is you need, and what you are looking for. I work with you to identify and develop your individual and relational strengths. I am EMDR trained and can use this as part of a therapeutic approach when appropriate.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work from a humanistic, relational, and systemic perspective. Individuals cannot be viewed apart from their relationships and the world around them; the eventual goal is to create and sustain change outside of the therapy office.
