Life can feel overwhelming & exhausting, causing us to feel burned out, stressed out, & stuck surviving instead of thriving. So many things can lead us to this place, including trauma, depression, masking, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, parenting, pregnancy, being the default parent, carrying a heavy mental load, struggling in our relationships with food & our bodies, complicated relationships, & managing a huge workload at home, school, & work. My Background and Approach
You may want to learn to balance life's stressors, accept & love your authentic self, set boundaries, process trauma, cope with big feelings, initiate and complete tasks, etc. Using evidence-based treatment modalities, we will work together to reach your goals. As a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, I will support you in learning how to pay attention to your body's natural cues, eat mindfully, improve your body image, and leave behind any unhealthy weight control behaviors. I have trained with Postpartum Support International and am passionate about working with people who are pregnant, postpartum, grieving, and finding their way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a parent of a child with medical complexities & special needs, I am passionate about helping all parents navigate life's stressors, finding and using your voice, learning to feel like yourself again, and connecting to helpful resources. I am neurodivergent affirming and identify as Neurodivergent myself. Research shows that masking leads to feelings of shame, guilt, depression, and anxiety. Let's work together to unmask so you can embrace your authentic self.
