About My Clients
I work best with adults healing from trauma, domestic violence, or unhealthy relationships. Many of my clients feel lost, doubt themselves, or struggle with people-pleasing and boundaries. Through telehealth counseling across Texas, I provide a safe, supportive space to process experiences, rebuild confidence, and navigate life transitions. My goal is to help you move from surviving to reclaiming your voice and living with strength and hope.
My Background and Approach
Background I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas (M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling), supervised by Courtney Runnels, LPC-S. My background includes working at One Safe Place, a Family Justice Center in Fort Worth, where I supported survivors of domestic violence and trauma. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the challenges survivors face and shaped my commitment to trauma-informed care. Approach My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I integrate trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches with tools from cognitive-behavioral therapy and person-centered counseling. I believe healing happens when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to take steps at their own pace. Sessions focus on building insight, strengthening coping strategies, and helping you reconnect with your voice and confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of my work is the belief that every person deserves safety, respect, and a voice. I am passionate about supporting survivors of domestic violence and trauma as they reclaim their power and rebuild their lives. As a counselor and a survivor myself, I deeply value authenticity, resilience, and empowerment. My practice is guided by trauma-informed, culturally responsive principles — I believe healing happens in spaces that honor your lived experience, culture, and identity. I support causes that advocate for domestic violence awareness, mental health accessibility, and equity in care. I’m especially drawn to community efforts that give survivors real tools, education, and safe pathways forward. Beyond counseling, I identify as a strong advocate for mental health conversations on social media — creating spaces where people can learn, feel seen, and know they’re not alone. If you’re looking for a counselor who will meet you with compassion, honesty, and hope, I’d be honored
