I enjoy working with all ages, assisting others in exploring their identity, moving through transitions, or other impacts that are getting in the way of who you want to be. I especially enjoy those who embrace their fandoms-maybe cringing at classifying themselves as a geek- but also understanding that their interests are a big part of themselves.
My Background and Approach
I often use experiential therapy to incorporate creative experiences that help you connect with your emotions and inner world in a deeper way. That might mean using metaphors, movement, art, video games, imagination, role-play... all depending on what feels right for you. Together, we’ll create a safe space to explore your unique story and find ways to thrive, honoring your pace and your way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m deeply committed to social justice, including LGBTQIA+ rights and universal human dignity. Outside my practice, I work at a non-profit that provides mental health services to low income individuals, immigrants, and other high need populations. Here we also provide a sanctuary to rescued animals. I’m an animal lover, a retired MMORPG player, a cozy gamer, and someone who’s always falling for a good lyric.
