About My Clients
I specialize in working with individuals navigating the impacts of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. My strength lies in working with survivors of interpersonal violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, or other complex traumatic experiences who are seeking a safe, supportive space to process their past and reclaim their sense of self. I am especially passionate about supporting those who hold marginalized identities, including immigrants and LGBTQIA+ individuals.
My Background and Approach
With over a decade of experience supporting trauma survivors in diverse settings, my approach is rooted in providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s needs. I am an EMDR-trained therapist with additional training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My background includes extensive work with survivors of sexual assault, interpersonal violence, and human trafficking, as well as individuals navigating anxiety, identity-related stress, and systemic oppression. I bring a culturally responsive, anti-oppressive lens to therapy, honoring the complexity of each person’s experience. Whether clients are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode, my role is to provide a safe, collaborative space where we can process what feels heavy, build practical tools for coping, and support meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of my work is the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I see therapy as a collaborative space where your voice, consent, and autonomy are always centered. My practice is grounded in values of racial justice, gender and LGBTQIA+ liberation, disability justice, and anti-oppression. I strive to hold a space that is non-judgmental, person-centered, and responsive to your unique identities and experiences. I honor the complexities of living at the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, class, disability, and trauma. I welcome feedback and see it as essential to our work together—I want therapy to feel safe, empowering, and right for you. Above all, my goal is to support your self-advocacy, help you reconnect with your own wisdom, and walk alongside you as you build a life that feels authentic and free.
