About My Clients
You are capable, thoughtful, and often quite productive—but your mind rarely feels quiet. You overthink conversations, second-guess decisions, worry about making mistakes, or feel pressure to always do more. Anxiety and perfectionism may be affecting your relationships, work, school, or your ability to be fully present. You're ready to understand these patterns, stop fighting with your mind, and develop a more flexible, compassionate way of moving through life.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed therapist who has specialized in anxiety and related concerns since 2018. I founded Cedar Rose Counseling & Wellness to provide thoughtful, individualized therapy for women who are ready for meaningful change. My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and exposure-based strategies. I believe anxiety isn’t something you have to fight, control, or eliminate before you can move forward. Instead, therapy can help you understand your patterns, respond differently to anxious thoughts and uncomfortable emotions, and build greater flexibility in how you navigate life. Our work will be collaborative and compassionate, with space to understand both the mind and body while developing practical tools you can use beyond the therapy room. My goal is to help you feel more confident in your ability to handle uncertainty, make choices rooted in your values, and live with greater presence and self-compassion.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Cedar Rose was born from my belief that we are whole people—mind, body, and spirit—and that each part deserves space in the counseling room. I believe therapy can offer a place for greater understanding, self-compassion, and meaningful change. My own Christian faith is an important part of who I am and how I understand healing, hope, and the human experience. If faith is meaningful to you, I welcome the opportunity to explore how your relationship with God and your spiritual beliefs may be part of your therapy experience. You are welcome to bring questions, doubts, struggles, or practices related to your faith into our work together. At the same time, I respect that every person’s beliefs and spiritual journey are different. You will never be expected to share my beliefs or incorporate faith into therapy. My goal is to create a space where you can show up authentically and feel safe bringing the parts of yourself that matter most to you.
