All families have conflict and many times one or more of the members walk away feeling hurt, resentful, or unheard. Feelings of hopelessness may over loom over your head when you think about your family’s situation. This is where I come in. I’ve spent years working with families in high conflict circumstances to help everyone’s voice be heard without taking “sides” and also empowering the family to make it through to the other side of conflict with hope.

Anxiety can look like sleepless nights, loss of appetite, being unable to think about anything else, gripping fears that make you feel physically ill or like you’re going to climb out of your own skin. I’ve been there myself and I’ve helped many others begin to find relief from their own anxiety by providing a safe place to process these feelings and working together to find solutions that can help life seem less scary.

Codependency looks like being consumed with the validation or opinion of how other perceive you, worrying that if you shared your true feelings or needs that you might lose a close relationship, feeling as if you cannot live without a certain person in your life. Prioritizing the needs of others over yourself you can leave you feeling exhausted and unimportant. I can give you actionable steps to begin bringing more balance and peace to your life and relationships today!

This means that I approach you with a great amount of empathy and without judgement. You are the expert on your life and I’m honored to be invited into your space to help you discover new insights, resources, and strength for your current circumstances. As I get to know you I’ll have observations and insights to share while helping you develop new skills along the way.

This means that therapy will begin by me really getting to know you. We’ll take a look at how past relationships and life events have contributed to who you are today. We all develop patterns in our relationships and these patterns usually offer a wealth of information that together, can be used to empower you towards knowing yourself better and developing confidence and skill in your relationships and choices for the future.
