About My Clients
I enjoy working with clients who are motivated to make positive changes in their lives, even if they feel stuck or uncertain about how to move forward. I appreciate working with individuals who are open to self-reflection and willing to explore their thoughts and feelings with honesty and curiosity. My goal is to support clients in tapping into their inner strengths, gaining clarity, and finding the hope they need to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
My professional journey has shaped the way I approach therapy. Over the years, I have developed a practice grounded in warmth, intuition, and gentle yet direct communication. I believe that building a strong, trusting relationship is essential to effective therapy, and I prioritize creating a space where clients can share their stories without fear of judgment. My goal is to foster an atmosphere of acceptance, where clients can be their authentic selves while discovering new perspectives and possibilities. I incorporate elements of both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my practice, helping clients learn to accept difficult emotions while committing to value-driven actions. While I am trained in the Gottman Method, I tend to integrate this approach selectively, drawing on its principles when working with couples to strengthen communication and build emotional connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of therapy, I value self-reflection and personal growth in my own life, which enriches my work with clients. I believe that remaining curious and committed to learning allows me to stay present and attuned to my clients’ evolving needs. My personal experiences shape my empathy and deepen my understanding of the challenges people face, reminding me of the importance of meeting each person with kindness and respect.
