About My Clients
I specialize in working with teens who feel overwhelmed with anxiety and self-criticism and are struggling with a draining desire to be perfect. I am a good fit for families who understand that therapy is often a long-term commitment.
My Background and Approach
I’ve been working in mental health for nine years and have been in a variety of roles before earning my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in 2018 and becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2022. I have worked in outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings and I have witnessed the overwhelming importance of human connection. Because of this, I value building safe, supportive, and genuine therapeutic relationships by utilizing a trauma-informed approach. I strive to be consistent, honest, and accepting in order to build a comfortable therapeutic space for clients to be vulnerable with their thoughts and feelings. Additionally, I like to hold space for clients who have had negative interactions with mental health professionals in the past.
