About My Clients
My ultimate goal is to help people lead a more satisfying, conscious, and authentic existence. My clients are folks who embrace their humanness and gather the courage to work through the root cause of their pain & recognize how it is showing up in the present moment. We will work to help you establish safety within your body & your world by developing healthy coping skills & a deeper awareness of self. I work with adult individuals struggling with religious trauma, sexual abuse trauma, & grief.
My Background and Approach
I am a third year counseling psychology student working towards my Masters. I have a background in Occupational Therapy which I believe helps inform a more holistic approach to treatment. I practice from a holistic, relational-psychodynamic approach that focuses on bringing the unconscious into consciousness, taking into account an individual’s mind, body, spirit, and the systems and culture they live in. I use principles of internal family systems, attachment theory, and incorporate somatic practices into our sessions. My OT background also means I have extensive knowledge about sensory processing issues & chronic illness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My hope is that you will find our sessions to be an empathetic, non-judgmental space for you to be radically honest and explore your authentic self. I believe each of us has an inner wisdom working to help guide us toward healing. I look forward to the work we will do together.
