About My Clients
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, burnout, identity exploration, and life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful people who are used to holding things together while struggling quietly themselves. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel safe to explore patterns, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in authenticity. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, and person-centered approaches to help clients better understand themselves, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. I believe therapy should feel supportive, nonjudgmental, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and experiences. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions. I also strive to provide culturally sensitive and LGBTQ+ affirming care where clients feel safe showing up as they are. My goal is to help clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and self-compassion while moving at a pace that feels manageable and sustainable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, respected, and accepted without judgment. I view the therapeutic relationship as collaborative, trusting, and rooted in authenticity. Rather than focusing on “fixing” people, I believe therapy can help individuals better understand themselves, reconnect with their strengths, and create meaningful change that aligns with their values. I believe mental health is deeply shaped by life experiences, relationships, culture, systems, and stressors, and I strive to provide care that is culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and inclusive of diverse identities and experiences. I also believe growth happens at different paces for different people, and that compassion, curiosity, and self-awareness are important parts of the healing process.
