About My Clients
Life is full of challenges & no one is meant to walk through this journey alone. I would love the opportunity to meet & talk to hear more about you, what you are looking for, & for me to be able to share what I have to offer to ensure that I am the right fit for you. I have worked with all age groups and families. I was a school social worker for 6 yrs, but have worked with youth for 9 years. I have worked w/ a wide variety of struggles; depression, anxiety, self harm, & sexuality, to name a few
My Background and Approach
I take an approach that is meant to help empower you as an individual. I utilize talk therapy, CBT, music, games, DBT, videos, mindfulness, and a variety of other techniques. I believe that therapy truly is a personalized thing. There is no cookie cutter approach to life struggles. I strive to learn what I can about you to customize how we approach whatever you are struggling with together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves to have therapy as we all go through struggles. I believe that everyone deserves respect and the ability to be who they are and come as they are. I have worked with many individuals in the LGBTQ community and I am a very strong ally. Masking is exhausting, and my hope is that during our time, you can just "be" as we begin to process through whatever is going on at the time.
