I recognize how difficult it can be when anxiety seems to be impacting every aspect of life, from thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships, to physical wellbeing. I assist clients in developing a deeper understanding of their anxiety triggers and patterns. Together, we explore coping mechanisms, mindfulness practices, and cognitive-behavioral strategies to effectively manage anxiety symptoms and regain control over your life.

I utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and psychodynamic approaches, in order to help clients discover underlying factors contributing to their depressive symptoms. We will work collaboratively to develop coping skills, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and gain a greater sense of self-awareness.

I work collaboratively with clients to unpack the underlying factors driving disordered eating behaviors, such as negative body image, low self-esteem, recurring negative thoughts, or past trauma. By addressing these root causes with through a compassionate lens, I help clients heal their relationship with food and body. I draw on specific therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.

A core tenant of ACT is identifying and understanding one's core values. When individuals clarify their values, they gain clarity about what truly matters to them. This clarity enables them to make choices and set goals that are aligned with their authentic selves, leading to a greater sense of authenticity, satisfaction, and inner peace. Values identification is something that I do with each client and it is continuously woven into the work that we do.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence based approach that I utilize in order to help clients recognize and challenge negative thought patterns or beliefs contributing to their presenting symptoms.

I utilize DBT to help clients develop skills to manage intense emotions, tolerate distress, and improve interpersonal relationships. For individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, DBT provides invaluable skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.
