Therapy such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a therapy that can help you process and settle your trauma in a very direct and effective way. Art therapy uses the creative processes—such as drawing, painting, sculpture, or collage—to help individuals express themselves, explore emotions, and improve mental health and well-being. Unlike traditional talk therapy, art therapy allows people to communicate and process feelings nonverbally, which can be especially useful for those who find it difficult to articulate their thoughts or trauma. I am licensed as an art therapist and trained in both psychology and art making techniques.

The basis of DBT work and skills training lies in the idea of dialectics- two seemingly opposite things can both be true at the same time. I am trained and certified in DBT and can help people break the cycle of black and white thinking, promote empathy and compromise, help you regulate your emotions, give you effective ways to solve conflict, and help you find the “middle ground” when making decisions.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy that can help you process and settle your trauma in a very direct and effective way. Triggers are minimized and the "fight or flight" response does not rule your life any longer. I am trained and certified in this trauma informed therapeutic intervention and fully believe that it can change your life.
