About My Clients
I love working with people who want to increase and create the connections we all deserve as humans. I practice from a holistic and attachment based approach and often work with those who may have family of origin trauma, relationship concerns or are lacking confidence in themselves or their relationships. I also enjoy working with couples or those who are partnered and looking to enhance their connection or intimacy.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist so see everything relationally. I am trained in several trauma focused modalities including Brainspotting ( certified), Accelerated Resolution Therapy ( level 1 Certified) and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. I am also trained in several couple therapy modalities including Gottman and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. I am comfortable and confident in discussing the full spectrum of relational issues from sex to parenting. Before private practice I provided in home therapy, school based therapy, worked in an addiction treatment center and in a practice dedicated to postpartum and perinatal issues. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves a chance. I believe that humans are generally kind and loving and that we all make mistakes. I believe in mind, body and spirit. I believe in rebirth and past lives. I am liberal. I support all relationships. I believe racism is real and I work daily to make a change. I am not perfect, but I do work to grow into the best version of myself that I can. I would be honored to share a healing space with you.
