About My Clients

I specialize in working with adolescents ages 14 and older and adults of all ages who are experiencing anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, issues with self-esteem, and major life changes. These often interlink with a wider range of issues that I also work with including, but not limited to, school and work-related stress, self-doubt, avoidance, grief, mood disorders, codependency, compulsive behaviors, and trauma.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy involves varied techniques and is tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. Together we can identify the obstacles that you may be facing and navigate the path towards a more fulfilling life in a way that feels right for you. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I earned my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. In order to stay current with the most up-to-date therapeutic interventions in the field, I earn continuing education credits annually. My practice is based in Philadelphia and offer counseling services to clients across the state of Pennsylvania.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe the most important relationship you have is with yourself. Therefore, my work with clients centers around developing a healthy sense of self in order to manage life’s difficulties more easily. Effective communication is at the core of my work with couples and families. I enjoy partnering with clients to foster new dynamics when old ways of relating are no longer working. Above all, I believe that healing is possible and available to each of us when we are met with compassion and understanding. As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe environment for my clients to express themselves, to be heard, to heal, and to explore the possibilities for making lasting changes.
