Trauma Therapy - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, helps your brain process the effects of trauma nonverbally. It gets to the root of your emotional wounds and focuses on reconciling the images and sensations attached to your traumatic memories. There is very little talking in EMDR. You only need to share what you’re willing to share. In the right hands, EMDR is safe and goes at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Alarmingly, drug addiction is actually considered to be a global pandemic impacting millions of people worldwide (Virrey Jr & Dominguez, 2021). The COVID19 Pandemic escalated addictions, alcohol use, drug use and gambling, due to isolation, uncertainty, and distress. Not only is the person addicted suffering, but the addiction has negative consequences for the person’s family and friends.
