About My Clients
I work with adults experiencing a range of life challenges in the areas of anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, trauma, issues with alcohol and other substances, relationships, sexuality, gender identity, non-monogamy, polyamory, kink and others.
My Background and Approach
Therapy can be difficult to begin and I recognize the courage it takes to make this commitment to yourself. In this process, I am committed to a practice of non-judgment and empathy as we explore stressors and difficulties you are experiencing. We will work collaboratively to bring self-acceptance, creativity, and compassion into your everyday struggles. Each individual has unique needs that change over time. Together, we will find the paths that work for you. My approach to therapy is psychodynamic, client centered and integrative. I pull from a variety of evidence based treatment modalities. I would be honored to talk with you during a free consultation to decide together if scheduling a session is a desired next step.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a queer, white, cis woman who believes in the Black Lives Matter movement, body and sex positivity, queer, trans and non binary centered care, and every person’s right to be their unique self.
