About My Clients
Life is full of stress and challenges that impact our belief in ourselves and make goals feel impossible. In a world that moves fast and never logs off, it's easy to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like you're falling behind. Whether you're feeling stuck, seeking clarity, processing what’s going on inside, or wanting to feel more grounded - you don’t have to do it alone. Here, all parts of you are seen, heard, and valued.
My Background and Approach
From a young age, I was drawn to being there for others. That instinct came, in part, from my own lived experiences of loss and uncertainty. I experienced firsthand how healing it can be to sit with a therapist who offers validation and connection. That moment shaped why I chose this work. I often describe our inner world as a garden - where both weeds and flowers grow. Sometimes shame and judgment take up more space than self-compassion. In therapy, my role is to help you nurture the flowers: authenticity, resilience, and self-love. I am especially drawn to Internal Family Systems (IFS) and relational approaches. These ways of working honor the complexity of who we are and allow us to build a safe, collaborative space for healing. I believe in your courage, your creativity, and your capacity for growth - and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I want everyone to feel safe to authentically be themselves. I love being able to witness people’s creativity and individuality. I am LGBTQIA-affirming and, through my own lived experiences, feel deeply connected to supporting individuals navigating the unique challenges this community faces. I hold a strong interest in exploring how systemic forces intersect with trauma—such as the lasting impact of religious institutions on LGBTQIA+ individuals. I am a pro-choice, trauma-informed clinician who believes body autonomy and reproductive freedom are essential for healing. I also firmly believe that everyone watches women's sports and that metaphors are sometimes the clearest path to insight. Knitting and running are my favorite ways to ground and practice mindfulness. These are small tools with a mighty impact that I utilize so I can be fully present—for myself and the people I work with. I believe healing is deeply personal, and no part of you is too much or not enough to bring in.
