EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and trauma. EMDR has been shown to be an effective treatment for traumatic memories that allows people to move forward with their lives. I am certified in EMDR by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). I provide EMDR both virtually and in-person and have found it be incredibly impactful for clients struggling with the effects of trauma on their lives. I also provide EMDR consultation.

I started my career working in an agency that supported survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Ever since this time, my passion has been working with survivors of trauma. I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing the ongoing impacts of past trauma and are ready to heal and move forward. I have several years of experience working with abuse survivors and am ready and willing to hear your story.

I have found IFS to be both transformative in my own life and in my work with clients. IFS sees people as made up of different parts and offers increased options for how to respond to challenges and triggers and is both gentle and empowering. I have completed multiple IFS trainings (Level 2 trained by IFS institute). I also specialize in integrating IFS with EMDR.

I specialize in helping couples understand the role of attachment in their relationship and uncover how unresolved trauma may be impacting the couple and creating barriers to intimacy. I enjoy helping couples heal together so they can experience increased communication, connection, and joy in their relationship. I incorporate EFT, Gottman, and IFS/IFIO approaches in my couples work and have extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFIO) approach to couples therapy.
