About My Clients
I have provided extensive counseling services to teens, adolescents, and adults in the Atlanta area for more than 7 years, using various modalities to accomplish mutually agreed-upon goals with clients.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master of Social Work in 2016 at the University of Georgia. My career began as a therapist at Beyond Words Center, where I provided parent training and facilitated individual, group, and family therapy that addressed various concerns including anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, stress management, & emotional & behavioral regulation. In 2019, I joined Awaken Counseling, where I continued to provide individual and family therapy. In November 2022, I started my own private practice. There I have continued to work with clients to identify their unique qualities that can help them acknowledge, implement, and sustain coping abilities. As such, I use client-centered interventions that may also be influenced by evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
