Having experienced PTSD myself, I understand the chronic and treatment-resistant nature of this condition. I’ve found that building a strong therapeutic alliance, combined with somatic techniques and Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, can foster lasting change by helping clients integrate and embrace all parts of themselves, including the wounded ones, while reducing symptoms.

Anxiety can manifest in various ways depending on a client’s background and environment, and may overlap with or stem from underlying issues. While many seek to eliminate these symptoms, my approach is to help clients stay present, process emotions somatically, and gently shift between discomfort and relief, always respecting the client’s pace.

I specialize in healing childhood abuse (sexual, physical, emotional), viewing trauma as an attachment wound that can be healed. With a trauma-informed, gentle approach, I help clients navigate this painful yet liberating process. Through a strong therapeutic alliance, somatic techniques, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, I support clients in integrating and embracing all parts of themselves, including the wounded ones.

IFS is a therapeutic model that views the mind as made up of different parts, each with its own thoughts, feelings, and roles. These parts often include wounded "exiles," protective "managers," and reactive "firefighters." I use IFS because it helps clients understand and embrace all parts of themselves, facilitating deep healing and emotional integration. I’ve found IFS to be highly effective in fostering self-compassion, resolving inner conflict, and creating lasting change.

Gestalt therapy focuses on increasing awareness of the present moment and understanding how past experiences shape current thoughts and behaviors. I use it to help clients connect with their emotions and sensations, fostering deeper self-awareness and authenticity. This approach is effective in resolving unresolved issues and integrating mind, body, and emotions for lasting personal growth.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) helps individuals and couples identify and express core emotions to build stronger emotional connections. I use EFT to transform negative relationship patterns and foster empathy. In Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), I work with couples to strengthen their bond and improve emotional responsiveness. This approach creates lasting change and emotional security in relationships.
