About My Clients
I specialize in helping clients who may be struggling with communication issues, intimacy concerns, or sexual disconnection in their relationships. In our early sessions, we'll explore these patterns together and create a plan that supports healthier emotional and sexual communication.
My Background and Approach
In my practice, I value a client-centered and collaborative approach, spending a significant amount of time listening curiously and intently. I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to move at their own pace. I completed my master’s degree and clinical training in Valdosta, Georgia, where I gained experience working with diverse populations and developed a culturally responsive and inclusive approach to therapy. My work is informed by relational, systems-based perspectives and emphasizes emotional safety, self-awareness, and meaningful connection. I integrate approaches such as emotionally focused, family systems, narrative, somatic, and compassion-focused therapies, tailoring sessions to each client’s unique needs and lived experience. Whether working with individuals or couples, my goal is to create a supportive space where clients can explore patterns, strengthen relationships, and develop greater clarity and self-trust.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and meaningful change happens when therapy feels collaborative rather than directive. Growth does not come from being “fixed,” but from being understood, empowered, and given space to move at a pace that feels right. As a child survivor of abuse, I know firsthand what it feels like to live in a world where you feel like you don't belong. I strive to create a space where all identities, relationships, and lived experiences are respected and affirmed. I take great pride in creating a safe space for my clients, the type of space I wish I had growing up. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up fully, without having to explain or defend who you are.
